Hi all! This is my first ever blog! I am going to keep it brief so that we can get into the gritty design stuff in my next couple of blog entries.

The purpose of this entry is to test that everything is working as intended on the site and to introduce who I am!

Seriously though, "who are you?' I hear you ask.

I am Samuel Sant, a creative who explores the realms of both art and design. I was born in 2001, and immediately became a large nuisance to my parents, however after putting up with me for 18 years I began studying at University for the Creative Arts (UCA) to acquire my Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. My experiences there led me to apply for study at University of the Arts London (UAL). I now study Product and Furniture Design, a subject that I perhaps struggled in when I was at secondary school, in no doubt due to the heavy burden that my other 3 A Level subjects placed upon me, but I am now really enjoying it! At university I have a lot more creative freedom and I am allowed to manage my own time a little better.

So... why "Artefacts of a Life"?

An artefact is an item created by a human, and I am one of 7.9 billion humans on this planet. This website is all of the artefacts created by one life (me) and the craft involved in creating them, documented in one place. In essence this blog is my design journey, updated every week.

If you want to find out more about me you can check the "about" page that will be updated relatively regularly, or equally use the live chat to ask me questions. I will try to reply as promptly as possible!

Thank you for reading! I look forward to sharing more very soon!
